There’s been some problems with my old blog at diaryland, so I’ll be cramming some previous posts here. There’s nothing much for me to do at the moment, since my Mom is hogging the good TV by watching the soul-killing “You are the one”. And the truth is, i spent the whole weekend practicising Japanese with my dog, and getting completely destroyed by Blood Red Shoes.

lOVIN’ THE MACHINE GUN PART
Bought their album last week, can’t say it was the most fantastic one that I’ve ever heard, but good debut nonetheless.
The good points: It’s forceful, violent and the whole album starts like it’s gonna end in an explosion. (which it thankfully does not, it would have been too cheesy). A 20 minute album packed like a solid 2 sec punch in the stomach. I heart.
The bad points: The songs are consistantly forceful, violent and explosive, so much so that it’ll start boring you after like, maybe the 3rd song, unless you are a hormonal teenager.

By the way, the Drummer kinda reminds me of Michael Cera, who was on Juno, which i also coincidentally watched over the weekend. It’s turning into one of my favourite movies of this year. (or is it last year?) Plus it has cameos from my favvourite comedians, Rainn Wilson and Jason Batemen.

He looks quite fetching here in those shiny shorts eh? Like a golden ticket. Sweet.
